Through twenty-five years of buying for a Japanese brand, the designer Nobu Yohimitsu has always focused on the notion: if I wear I would… This is where the brand name was derived from. The better of his career during the 1980s was spent collecting vintage pieces; often dressing himself in the same garments he uncovered along the way.
The time-tested cuts, colors, textiles, and details of these particular vintage pieces have been reworked into our more modern, and fundamentally-technical clothing.
